Earthbound is a quiet exploration of light, memory, and place. Soft pinks and dusky rose tones blend with earthy ochres, evoking Colombia’s rural landscapes bathed in late-afternoon sun. Gold leaf accents shimmer across the surface, catching the light like reflections on water or glints of sun along winding roads. These colours carry the warmth of recollection and the richness of terrain.
In the rich tapestry of Colombia’s landscapes, I find inspiration for my art, weaving together hues of pink and golden yellow. Each canvas is a reflection of my personal journey, blending memories, car journeys, and experiences that shaped my sense of home.

Laura Mila | Originally from Colombia, I am now based in London, a city that has adopted me and nurtured my artistic growth. It was during my time studying for a BA in Illustration in Bristol that I discovered my love for abstract painting as a way to translate emotions in an explorative and expressive form. Now represented byArtiq, an international art agency that not only connects artists with global audiences but also champions the power of art to inspire, uplift, and create meaningful connections.
